Expect Possible Traffic Delays this Sunday, Oct. 30th Due to SLO Gran Fondo Cycling Event

The SLO Gran Fondo Cycling Event is being held this Sunday, Oct. 30th.  The event starts and ends at the Avila Beach Golf Course per the schedule below.  Expect possible traffic delays.

This Friday, October 21st the Willie Nelson Concert is being held at the Avila Beach Golf Course.  Gates open at 5pm and concert starts at 7pm. Expect heavier traffic before and after the event.

This Saturday, October 15th the Alta Music Festival is being held at the Avila Beach Golf Course.  Gates open at 1pm.  The music starts at 2pm and show is over at 9:30pm.  Expect heavier traffic before and after the event.

Expect Possible Traffic Delays this Sun. Oct. 9th Due to the City to the Sea Half Marathon


On Sunday morning October 9, the City to the Sea Half Marathon will begin in downtown San Luis Obispo at 7 am.  The course will wind its way though Avila Beach and end in Pismo Beach. Ontario Road, San Luis Bay Drive, the Bob Jones Trail, Avila Beach Drive, and Shell Beach Road are part of the course. All intersections will have traffic management in place. The runner activity will peak in our area from 8:15 am  to 9:15 am.
